| The Lakeshore Chinooks recently joined the Northwoods Baseball League, a summer league for college players. Each season, the Chinooks play 35 home games from late May through mid-August. The Chinooks players, some of the best college players in the country, come from all over the United States. The Chinooks home field is Kapco Park on the campus of Concordia University in Mequon, WI. |

| National Association of Women in Construction |
| The National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) originally began as Women in Construction of Fort Worth, Texas. Sixteen women working in the construction industry founded it in 1953. Knowing that women represented only a small fraction of the construction industry, the founders organized NAWIC to create a support network. Women in Construction of Fort Worth was so successful that it gained its national charter in 1955 and became the National Association of Women in Construction. Today, NAWIC provides its members with opportunities for professional development, education, networking, leadership training, public service and more. |

The purpose of the camp is to provide for the unique needs of burn injured youth, while they are having fun, making friends, sharing feeling and developing self-esteem. We offer this to promote coping and life beyond the burn injury for these children. |
