The Homestead Sports Booster Club |
The Homestead Sports Booster Club is a non-profit organization that, since its inception in 1980, supports the efforts of the student athlete through the various sports programs and athletic events conducted with the authorization of the Homestead High School and sanctioned through the WIAA. It's bylaws call for the charitable and educational activities that promote, support and preserve the athletic programs, teams, and events that are to be the stimulus of community interest, support and pride in Homestead High School and to promote good sportsmanship, physical fitness, leadership, and excellence of achievement of the participating student athlete. |
Lakeshore Chinooks |
The Lakeshore Chinooks recently joined the Northwoods Baseball League, a summer league for college players. Each season, the Chinooks play 35 home games from late May through mid-August. The Chinooks players, some of the best college players in the country, come from all over the United States. The Chinooks home field is Kapco Park on the campus of Concordia University in Mequon, WI. |

The Mission of the Mequon-Thiensville Education Foundation is to develop community-wide private financial support for the Mequon-Thiensville School District and through grants, to help continued excellence in education. The MTEF's vision is to be the leading organization for providing private financial support for the Mequon-Thiensville School District. MTEF works with other district and community organizations to ensure that funds are raised efficiently and effectively and are made available to the district in a manner that addresses the significant needs of the Mequon-Thiensville School District. The Mequon-Thiensville Education Foundation grants will help to maintain and sustain programs at risk to enhance learning experiences in the Mequon-Thiensville School District. |

National Association of Women in Construction |
The National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) originally began as Women in Construction of Fort Worth, Texas. Sixteen women working in the construction industry founded it in 1953. Knowing that women represented only a small fraction of the construction industry, the founders organized NAWIC to create a support network. Women in Construction of Fort Worth was so successful that it gained its national charter in 1955 and became the National Association of Women in Construction. Today, NAWIC provides its members with opportunities for professional development, education, networking, leadership training, public service and more. |
SoulQuench |
SoulQuench is the summer youth camp of the Greene County Baptist Association. For the past several years we’ve been sending out mission teams to Guatemala, and recently to Dominican Republic. Our goal is to bring students into a closer walk with God the Father and to teach students how to share Jesus with the world around them using the gifts and talents they’ve been given. |

The Wisconsin Alliance for Fire Safety’s Summer Camp for Burn Injured Youth (sometimes called WAFS Burn Camp) is a statewide effort to provide a summer camping experience for youth 7-17 who have endured significant burn injuries. The purpose of the camp is to provide for the unique needs of burn injured youth, while they are having fun, making friends, sharing feeling and developing self-esteem. We offer this to promote coping and life beyond the burn injury for these children. |
