Johnson Level Maximum Accuracy Billet Levels
MEQUON WI, February 11, 2013 – Johnson Level & Tool, the leader in levels and lasers, has developed two extremely accurate, magnetic billet torpedo levels to meet the specific needs of professional plumbers, electricians and general contractors.
The new 6" model# 1411-0600 and 9" model# 1411-0900 magnetic billet torpedo levels are easy to read and feature four vials set precisely at 0°, 30°, 45° and 90° angles. Rare earth magnets on each of the levels hold five times tighter than everyday magnets and the v-groove magnetic edge is essential for leveling pipe or conduit. The 6" billet level comes with a “no dog” feature for conduit bends and it allows the level to lock onto the end of the pipe.
“The contractors who trust Johnson need their levels to be durable and to have maximum accuracy. Our new billet levels have a precision-machined solid aluminum frame with machined vial openings to assure the highest accuracy. The four green vials on each level are extremely easy to read and better than any vial on the market,” said John Dwyer, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Johnson Level.
Tom Hintz, owner of NewWoodworker.com and NewMetalworker.com, said about the billet torpedo levels, “whether you work with wood or metal, you need a good torpedo level, and this seems to be the best one out there.”
